Mastercard to pilot stablecoin payment verification project

Mastercard said it will launch a pilot of Mastercard Crypto Credential for cross-border stablecoin payments with global liquidity network Borderless.xyz, according to The Block. The Crypto Credential is a standardized verification framework that can be used to verify blockchain transaction participants and support regulatory compliance and risk management. Infinia, Walapay and Koywe are participating in the pilot.
