World Chain to add 'block access list' tech on mainnet Aug. 17

World Chain, World’s Optimism-based layer-2 network, plans to become the first layer-2 to introduce block access list technology on its mainnet on Aug. 17, according to The Block. The network said it will stream block access lists every 200 milliseconds within its Flashblock architecture. The technology will be implemented through EIP-7928 and can enable processing capacity of up to one gigagas per second, reducing latency and significantly improving transaction throughput.
