August 06, 2026, 6:36 AM
Andreessen Horowitz founder Marc Andreessen said on the "a16z Crypto Show" that views in the U.S. Congress are shifting as the crypto industry has survived an intense U.S. government regulatory crackdown. Andreessen said some lawmakers see crypto as a meaningful industry after efforts to eliminate it failed. To help U.S. companies operate responsibly, Andreessen said an institutional foundation such as the CLARITY bill is needed.
