AI finds 4,962 security vulnerabilities across 390 projects

Sixteen Bitcoin developers used AI-driven security reviews to identify 4,962 security vulnerabilities across 390 projects, including 85 critical flaws and 635 high-risk issues, CoinDesk reported. Calle, a developer of Bitcoin-based open-source privacy payment protocol Cashu, stressed that as AI has significantly accelerated the speed of vulnerability detection, a new challenge is getting those findings to maintainers quickly.
