Hana Financial, Lambda256 build blockchain-based overseas remittance infrastructure

Hana Financial Group has selected blockchain infrastructure firm Lambda256 as the technology partner for an overseas remittance and payments project with Dunamu, and the business has been under way in earnest since June, The Herald Business reported. Lambda256, Dunamu’s blockchain technology subsidiary, is serving as the technology provider for Hana Bank’s overseas trade remittance operations on blockchain. The company is developing smart contracts to process and record remittance transactions on GIWA Chain, Dunamu’s enterprise blockchain, and is working to integrate them with Hana Bank’s existing foreign exchange and account systems.
