TripleA hacker-linked address launders $5M in ETH through Tornado Cash

A wallet address linked to the hacker behind the breach of payment infrastructure firm TripleA deposited 2,620 ETH worth $4.97 million into Tornado Cash, according to PeckShield. Tornado Cash is an Ethereum-based mixing protocol designed to obscure cryptocurrency deposit and withdrawal records, making it difficult to trace transaction histories between senders and recipients. About $10 million worth of cryptocurrency was stolen from TripleA on July 25.
