Aave founder says ETH staking cap proposal may face biggest resistance

Aave founder Stani Kulechov said EIP-8361 could become one of the most strongly opposed proposals in Ethereum’s history, Cointelegraph reported. The proposal centers on a tapered issuance burn mechanism that would gradually reduce new validator issuance rewards toward 0% once staked ETH reaches 50% of Ethereum’s total supply.
