Optimism says $29.6M in OP to unlock from May 2026 through April 2027

Optimism said about 343 million OP worth $29.6 million is scheduled to be unlocked from May 2026 through April 2027, including 200 million OP allocated to the ecosystem fund, 47.6 million OP allocated to initial contributors, and 15.3 million OP allocated to investors. Following the unlocks, OP’s circulating supply will reach 2.504 billion tokens, or 58.3% of total supply. The project stressed the unlocks follow an existing plan and involved no new allocations. According to CoinMarketCap, OP was trading at $0.08638, down 1.26% over the past 24 hours.
