The U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control sanctioned Iranian cryptocurrency exchanges Shelbit and Aban Tether, saying they had supported funding for Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and facilitated illicit finance.
