U.S. CFTC warns prediction markets against American-style gambling odds

The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission sent letters reminding regulated firms to comply with U.S. laws governing derivatives trading and to avoid "deceptive" practices when listing, soliciting or advertising products. American-style gambling odds use plus and minus signs to show potential winnings based on the amount wagered.
