NYSE develops on-chain settlement platform for tokenized securities

The New York Stock Exchange is developing an on-chain settlement platform for tokenized securities, Digital Asset reported. Lynn Martin, president of the NYSE, said at a seminar in Seoul today that the exchange took part in a pilot program by the Depository Trust Company in July and will continue exploring how the technology can be implemented responsibly as core infrastructure for the future of global financial markets.
