The U.S. SEC is considering a plan that would let U.S.-listed companies object to third-party listings of tokenized versions of their shares, Bloomberg reported. According to Bloomberg, the SEC’s proposed "innovation exemption" could also limit stock-token trading platforms to U.S. entities and tighten anti-money laundering rules. Details could be released as early as Aug. 14.
