FlightAware withdraws lawsuit against Kalshi a day after filing

FlightAware withdrew its lawsuit against prediction market platform Kalshi a day after filing it. The flight-tracking service had sued Kalshi in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on Aug. 10, alleging improper use of its data and trademarks, but pulled the case the next day. FlightAware had previously argued that Kalshi used its data to run markets that let users bet on whether flights would be canceled, alleging breach of contract, trademark infringement and unfair competition.
