Coinbase plans to migrate its offshore perpetual futures trading infrastructure to Deribit on Sept. 9, 2026, Greeks.live researcher Adam said. The move will allow eligible Coinbase users to directly trade cryptocurrency options, including Bitcoin and Ethereum. Coinbase said in an official announcement the integration will provide deeper liquidity, a high-performance matching engine and a more comprehensive derivatives ecosystem. Adam added Deribit was one of Coinbase’s major acquisitions in recent years and said the infrastructure integration is expected to unify spot, perpetual futures and options products, along with liquidity and risk management systems.
