Dormant 13-year Bitcoin whale moves $5.4M in BTC to new address

A Bitcoin whale address dormant for more than 13 years, beginning with 1NidFx, transferred 85 BTC worth about $5.4 million to a new address at block height 962,114, according to Galaxy Research. The whale appears to have bought the holdings around 13 years ago at about $13 per coin. If the latest transfer was for profit-taking, the estimated return would be 475,056%. Based on CoinMarketCap data, BTC was trading at $63,886.83, down 0.38%, at the time of writing.
