Samson Mow says Bitcoin Core developers should reflect on BIP-110 dispute
JAN3 CEO Samson Mow criticized the controversy over BIP-110 as a result Bitcoin Core developers brought on themselves, according to U.Today. Mow said such disputes would keep recurring unless the developers acknowledge responsibility for triggering the BIP-110 movement, adding that the situation could have been avoided if Bitcoin Core had left the default OP_RETURN policy untouched and delayed changes for about one to two years. BIP-110 is a proposal aimed at limiting the large-scale storage of non-financial data, including Ordinals and NFTs, on the Bitcoin blockchain.
