Hawaii to ban crypto kiosks and ATMs statewide

Hawaii will ban cryptocurrency kiosks and ATMs statewide after Gov. Josh Green signed a bill prohibiting the ownership, operation and management of digital financial asset trading kiosks that accept U.S. dollars and provide crypto, Cointelegraph reported. The move comes amid a rise in crypto-related fraud losses. According to the FBI, such scams caused more than $11 billion in losses across the U.S. last year.
