Printr to shut down on Aug. 31 amid funding difficulties
August 18, 2026, 12:11 AM
Printr, a chain-abstracted memecoin issuance and trading platform, announced it will shut down its service on Aug. 31 amid funding difficulties. The project said it had reviewed all possible options over the past three months, but could no longer continue under current market conditions amid a lack of funding and distribution support.
Starting today, all on-chain staking positions and staking rewards will be automatically unstaked and returned to their original deposit addresses, after which the staking function will be discontinued. The previously planned token generation event and airdrop have also been canceled as the project winds down. After Aug. 31, the Printr app interface will no longer operate, though tokens issued through the platform will continue to exist as independent on-chain assets.
