Monad Foundation offers to buy locked-up MON, but most early investors decline

The Monad Foundation pursued a program to buy locked-up MON directly from early investors at a discounted price, but most of those offered the option chose not to sell.
According to the foundation, the total purchase size was $60 million, and the MON it acquired remains subject to the same four-year lockup period. The foundation said the program was designed to give early investors a chance to sell if they needed to recover funds or had changed their investment strategy. It also stressed that it has never sold MON or proposed or pursued sales through over-the-counter trades, and is not currently engaged in any related process.
