Arthur Hayes says AI agent economy is coming as he promotes Flop Labs

BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes said on X that while the AI industry is in a bubble, an AI agent economy will emerge. Hayes added that the AI stock bubble is concentrated in debt issued to build data centers, unprofitable large-scale infrastructure companies, and AI developers, and said computing capacity built up excessively through lending supports the business logic of Flop Labs, a venture he founded. Hayes had previously said he founded Flop Labs, the developer of AI agent project Flop Network. Flop is scheduled for an airdrop in the fourth quarter and the launch of its genesis block in the first quarter of next year.
