CFTC ends civil case against ex-Alameda CEO Caroline Ellison, FTX co-founder Gary Wang

The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission has ended its civil case against former Alameda Research CEO Caroline Ellison and FTX co-founder Gary Wang after both accepted consent orders of judgment admitting liability for fraud charges, Crypto Briefing reported. Under the settlement, the CFTC imposed a five-year trading ban and a 10-year registration ban on Ellison, while Wang received a five-year trading ban and an eight-year registration ban.
