OCC chief says final GENIUS Act rules are due by November

Jonathan Gould, head of the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, said final rules to implement the GENIUS Act, a U.S. bill aimed at establishing a legal framework for stablecoins, are scheduled to be released by November. Speaking at the SALT conference in Wyoming on Aug. 19, Gould added, "We are moving at a very rapid pace."
