CZ backs tokenizing all assets as a way to attract foreign investment

Binance founder Changpeng Zhao, also known as CZ, said tokenizing assets could be an effective way for countries to raise capital and attract foreign direct investment, adding that CZ supports tokenizing assets on every blockchain. In a post on X, Zhao said any country or company would want to tokenize shares and sell them to investors worldwide. Zhao said tokenization across multiple blockchains could fragment liquidity, but added that it would also let multiple participants expand the market at the same time, making it the fastest way to grow the industry. Zhao added that the liquidity fragmentation issue could be addressed to some extent if tokens can be exchanged easily even when they are issued by different entities, and said that point is important.
