Arthur Hayes says ETH is his second-largest holding and could top $5K

BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes said in an interview with crypto journalist Laura Shin that Ethereum is now the largest position in his portfolio outside Bitcoin. Hayes said ETH, despite having the second-largest market capitalization, is a major cryptocurrency that has yet to surpass its 2021 all-time high. He added that, compared with other cryptocurrencies, ETH carries a much lower risk of falling to zero, making it suitable for large-scale investment. Hayes said its relatively weaker performance in the last cycle leaves substantial room for catch-up, and if it breaks above $3,000, the rally could gain real momentum and quickly push past $5,000.
