Coinbase launches in-app instant trading for new onchain tokens on Base, Solana

Coinbase, the largest U.S. cryptocurrency exchange, has launched a new Launches tab that lets users instantly discover and trade newly issued onchain tokens within its app. With the feature addition, users no longer need to wait through the formal listing process on centralized exchanges and can buy and sell new tokens immediately after they are created on the Base and Solana blockchains. The system uses automated infrastructure indexing technology to detect and surface newly created onchain tokens in real time within the Coinbase app. For Solana-based token trades, Coinbase has integrated routing technology from Jupiter, the largest decentralized exchange aggregator, to provide optimal liquidity and pricing.
