Anonymous donor gives over $8M in USDT to 19 nonprofits via The Giving Block

Crypto donation platform The Giving Block said an anonymous donor gave more than $8 million in Tether (USDT) to 19 nonprofit organizations last week. The funds are set to support work across hunger relief, global health, humanitarian aid, and programs for children and families. Founded in 2018, The Giving Block was acquired by global payments company Shift4 in 2022. Crypto donations processed through the platform topped $100 million in 2025 alone.
