The current and former CEOs of Polish cryptocurrency exchange Zondacrypto are both unaccounted for, The New York Times reported. According to the report, founder Sylwester Suszek has been missing since 2022, while successor CEO Przemyslaw Kral has also been unaccounted for since April. Zondacrypto halted crypto withdrawals and trading in April, and its native token ZND has plunged more than 99.9%. Estonian authorities revoked the parent company’s business license in late June, while Polish prosecutors are investigating the exchange’s establishment and operations, including possible involvement in crimes such as money laundering.
