Pakistan opens licensing portal for virtual asset service providers

Pakistan’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (PVARA) has opened a licensing application portal for virtual asset service providers (VASPs), Cointelegraph reported. Businesses that have been operating locally since before March 5 must apply for a no-objection certificate (NOC) by Sept. 5, or they will have to suspend operations.
