BNB Chain to implement Pasteur hard fork on Aug. 25 to boost transaction speeds

BNB Smart Chain will implement the Pasteur hard fork at 2:30 a.m. UTC on Aug. 25, with the upgrade focused on strengthening validator and cross-chain security while improving network throughput, U.Today reported. In a test environment, transactions per second rose to 2,324 from 1,237, although the same level of performance improvement is not guaranteed on the mainnet.
