Dormant whale sells 1,400 BTC after 4 years, locking in $76.5M profit

A whale dormant for four years recently sold 1,400 BTC worth $111.61 million, according to Lookonchain. The whale bought 2,200 BTC four years ago at an average price of $45,024, for a total of $99.05 million, and did not sell through the bear market. At one point, the position’s unrealized profit expanded to as much as $178 million. Combining realized and unrealized gains, the whale is now sitting on a profit of $76.5 million.
