AI agents process 205 million transactions through x402, Coinbase says

AI agents have processed more than 205 million transactions through the x402 protocol so far, with total transaction volume reaching $53 million, Coinbase said. By network, Coinbase accounted for the largest share at 67%. x402 is a standard technology that allows AI agents and applications to make payments directly over HTTP.
