Bitcoin posts largest-ever weekly dollar gain last week, Galaxy Research says

Bitcoin posted its biggest weekly gain ever in U.S. dollar terms last week, rising $14,775, or 23.5%, from $62,818 to $77,593 between Aug. 17 and 23, according to Galaxy Research. By percentage gain, the move ranked 41st. Galaxy Research cited the U.S. Treasury's expanded buybacks of long-term bonds and President Donald Trump's support for the CLARITY Act as factors behind the rally.
