Hanwha Investment & Securities accelerates crypto push with U.S. office opening

Hanwha Investment & Securities has reorganized its virtual asset investment unit and opened a local office in the United States, Seoul Economic Daily reported. According to the financial investment industry, the company recently revamped its Global Network Team into a Synergy Investment Team and is recruiting experienced hires. Hanwha Investment & Securities is also stepping up work on a digital asset platform, or DAP, while continuing strategic investments aimed at securing a digital asset value chain. Those investments include Digital Asset, the operator of the Canton Network, a finance-focused blockchain; U.S. tokenized securities issuer Securitize; and Web3 infrastructure company Crystus.
