Ripple, SettleMint partner on tokenization solution for traditional finance

Ripple and digital asset lifecycle platform SettleMint have entered into a partnership to provide an integrated tokenization solution for traditional financial institutions, CoinGape reported. The partnership combines the institutional-grade custody and governance features of Ripple Custody with SettleMint’s Digital Asset Lifecycle Platform to let TradFi institutions handle custody, issuance and lifecycle management for tokenized assets on a single platform. The companies plan to support the adoption and management of real-world assets, stablecoins and digital assets by traditional financial institutions, starting in the Asia-Pacific region.
