TD Cowen sets Bitcoin year-end target at $97.5K

Global investment bank TD Cowen has set a year-end price target of $97,500 for Bitcoin, implying about 25% upside from its current price of around $78,000, Crypto Briefing reported. TD Cowen had previously projected BTC would reach $177,000-$225,000 in 2026-2027, but it has now cut that forecast sharply to reflect recent price weakness. The bank said the downgrade reflects recent BTC underperformance rather than structural problems, and it sees regulatory clarity and inclusion in major indices as potential catalysts for a rebound.
