Wintermute says whales are shifting funds from BTC to SOL and XRP

Whale investors are quietly buying Solana and XRP, according to an analysis by crypto market maker Wintermute cited by U.Today. Wintermute said the crypto market had shown unexpected macroeconomic resilience and fully absorbed the impact of hawkish remarks from the Fed chair and weakness in the U.S. tech sector. Against that backdrop, Bitcoin was stabilizing after a strong rally, while institutional money had begun moving more actively into altcoins, triggering record inflows into Solana and XRP funds, Wintermute said.
