Flop Labs builds GPU computing exchange to trade resources with FLOP

September 02, 2026, 5:56 AM
Flop Labs, an AI agent project led by CEO Arthur Hayes, said it is building an exchange where GPU computing resources can be bought and sold. In a post on X, the project said Nvidia generated $89 billion in quarterly data center computing revenue, up 117% year over year, but pricing for GPU usage remains unstandardized, leaving users to contact providers directly to learn rates. On Flop, AI agents buy computing resources from miners using FLOP, while validators re-execute part of the completed computing work to verify the pricing basis used in the transaction.
