El Salvador keeps buying Bitcoin, holdings rise to 7,762 BTC

El Salvador’s government has continued buying Bitcoin, lifting its national holdings to 7,762 BTC, Bitcoin.com reported. The government is maintaining a policy of purchasing one BTC a day regardless of Bitcoin’s price. From January through April this year, it added more than 1,600 BTC, and it has maintained its buying stance into the fifth year since launching its Bitcoin policy in 2021.
