UK fintech firm Revolut has received preliminary approval to establish a U.S. bank, Crypto Briefing reported. The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency granted conditional approval for a national bank charter that would allow the company to set up Revolut Bank US. The approval clears the way for Revolut to build infrastructure for FDIC-insured deposits and lending products, as well as direct access to U.S. payment networks.
