Ansem says bear-market strategies may limit gains in a bull market

Cryptocurrency trader Ansem said investment strategies that worked well in a bear market could instead limit profit opportunities in a bull market. Ansem said that even traders consistently generating returns through active trading in the current market may need to consider the long-term upside potential of spot holdings in a bull market. Focusing only on short-term trading, Ansem said, can mean missing gains that come from holding spot positions through major rallies. For traders already posting stable returns, Ansem added that one option may be to keep part of their spot holdings separately for long-term upside while continuing their existing trading strategy with the rest of their capital.
