Spacecoin partners with Germany’s Decen Space to expand satellite ground station network

Decentralized satellite internet project Spacecoin announced on Sept. 4 that it has formed a strategic partnership with Decen Space, a Berlin-based German startup focused on satellite ground station infrastructure. Spacecoin plans to use Decen Space’s distributed ground station network to increase the time its CTC satellites in orbit can communicate with the ground, while expanding opportunities for data transmission, reception, and network demonstrations. Spacecoin recently also unveiled the technical architecture of SOLAR, a communications routing protocol for satellite internet data transmission, and Lumen, a billing and settlement layer for usage fee clearing.
