The National Sheriffs' Association (NSA), a major U.S. law enforcement group, has withdrawn its opposition to the Clarity Act, a crypto market structure bill, and shifted to a neutral stance, Cointelegraph reported. The NSA said stepping back was appropriate to allow the legislative process to move forward, citing the bill's complexity and key details that are still under discussion. The group had previously opposed the bill over concerns it could weaken law enforcement agencies' ability to investigate and crack down on illicit finance.
