BTC mining profitability improves as price climbs back above $80K

Bitcoin mining companies are seeing improved profitability as BTC has recovered $80,000, NewsBTC analyzed. The outlet said Bitcoin mining difficulty fell 1.31% in August, while hashprice rose to more than $39 per PH/s per day. That was more than 43% higher than the roughly $27 recorded in June.
Still, the outlet noted the rise in Bitcoin prices does not automatically translate into better profitability for every miner. It added that if mining difficulty rises again, some of the gains in profitability could be offset. In the Bitcoin mining industry going forward, key indicators shaping profitability will include not only the BTC price, but also mining difficulty, hashprice, electricity costs, and major mining pools' share of block production.
