Term Labs hacker deposits 400 ETH into Tornado Cash

A hacker who stole about $8.5 million in crypto by exploiting a governance vulnerability in DeFi protocol Term Labs in late August deposited 400 ETH, worth about $982,000, into crypto mixing protocol Tornado Cash, according to blockchain security firm PeckShield. The hacker has now deposited a total of 960 ETH, and the move likely forms part of an effort to make the stolen funds harder to trace.
