XRP futures trading volume across the top three centralized exchanges reached about $64.6 billion in August, the highest level since February, according to an analysis by on-chain data platform Arab Chain.
Arab Chain said Binance accounted for the largest share at about $37.0 billion, followed by Bybit at about $14.54 billion and OKX at about $12.88 billion. The platform said the increase suggests liquidity is flowing back into XRP and investor interest in the derivatives market is rising. At the same time, Arab Chain said higher futures volume does not necessarily signal a price increase, as both long and short trading can expand. To gauge the market’s next direction, price trends, funding rates and open interest, or OI, should be monitored together, it added.
