Aptos to conduct first testnet reset on Oct. 7

Aptos said it will carry out its first testnet reset on Oct. 7. All previously deployed smart contracts, test accounts, balances and transaction histories will be deleted and will need to be redeployed, while the mainnet and devnet will not be affected. Aptos said it has been carrying out periodic resets as the testnet has processed more than 10 billion transactions and storage usage has grown, in order to cap capacity and maintain network performance.
