Kaia to burn 2.46M KAIA under new contributor reward system

Kaia announced the tally and reward claim results for "CR Mission 1 Epoch 1," a new contributor reward system that replaces the previous proposal reward, or PR, model. Of the monthly budget of 2.5 million KAIA, only 36,421 KAIA was paid out as rewards, and the remaining 2,463,579 KAIA is set to be burned. The burned tokens will not be included in circulating supply, with the first burn scheduled for November. Claims opened after on-chain settlement was completed on Sept. 7, and rewards are being distributed through a six-month linear unlock. Kaia said rewards are being provided to wallets that completed both KAIA staking and USDT deposits.
