Long-term holder capitulation has often marked a BTC buying opportunity

Periods when even medium- to long-term BTC investors sell at a loss have generally been good buying opportunities, according to a CryptoQuant analysis by contributor Crypto Dan. Crypto Dan said those periods have often coincided with the spent output profit ratio, or SOPR, falling below one and market interest hitting a low. Such opportunities tend to appear only once every few years, Crypto Dan added, and while the current phase is passing, BTC remains undervalued.
