Europe accounts for 72.9% of Solana (SOL) block production, according to Glassnode. Germany held the largest country share at 36.1%, followed by the Netherlands at 19.6% and the U.S. at 15.2%.
By city, Frankfurt in Germany and Amsterdam in the Netherlands accounted for 35.3% and 19.4%, respectively, meaning the two cities produced more than half of the total. Solana validators located in those two cities also totaled 310 out of 675, or 46%, while they accounted for 53% of staked assets. Ark Invest and Glassnode had previously analyzed Solana’s network infrastructure as relatively concentrated in Europe.Leave the first comment
