Chinese influencer urges Binance to slow pace of new listings

September 10, 2026, 5:11 AM
Concerns are growing in Chinese crypto communities over Binance’s heavy pace of listing new projects. Qwerty, a well-known Chinese crypto influencer, said almost new Alpha projects are being launched daily and about 75% of all Alpha projects eventually make it into futures or spot trading, while the faster listing pace is eroding the scarcity, authenticity and value once associated with a Binance listing. Qwerty added that Binance should reduce its listing frequency and focus more on the authenticity of projects and their communities, leaving room for projects with genuine culture, real users and strong communities that deserve Binance’s recognition. Qwerty is known as the second-largest individual holder of Niulai, which was listed for spot trading on Binance yesterday.
